[ English | Deutsch | Español | Français | Italiano ]

After black jack and Craps, electronic poker gives you some of the best odds in the brick and mortar casino if you wager on it right. It combines a few of the excitement of a slot machine with some of the excitement of a table game, all while not rushing you to play. This the reason why many pro gamblers use electronic poker as a means of relaxation in amongst the requirements of vingt-et-un or a table poker game.

For many years now, electronic poker has constantly grown in prominence in the casinos. While many video poker games can can appear to be slots, make little mistake about it – they are not! Unlike video slots, electronic poker is a merger of chance AND ability.

The cards are given out irregularly, like in actual poker match. The house’s advantage is established by how much it pays out for the numerous combinations of winning hands. Different machines have different payout schedules for the numerous poker hands, so be sure to select a machine with a beneficial payout schedule.

In order to wager on electronic poker with any chance at succeeding, you should know the basics about betting on 5 card draw poker, which is beyond the purview of this essay. We’ll assume you know the essential basics of the game and how the various poker hands are graded.

To wager on a video poker game, you simply insert one or more coins (generally up to a maximum of five) and hit the "deal" button. 5 cards are dealt to you on the screen. You select the ones you wish to hold by pushing the "hold" button beneath each card.

You then hit the "deal" button once again and you will be dealt the number of cards you decided not to keep, to assemble your finishing, 5 card poker hand. If you end up with a successful combination, you’re paid-out according to the payout schedule.

It is as clear as that! Many electronic poker machines have a payout schedule that is ninety seven or 98percent.
